Product  /  Notes

The narrative the fields can't hold.

Notes is for the free-form record — phone summaries, strategy, chronologies, impressions — the context that matters but doesn't fit a fixed field.

Narrative case notes in Thistle linked to a matter
          and its contacts

Context, reasoning, and impressions.

Phone notes, strategy and analysis, timelines of events, trial-prep questions, meeting and home-visit notes, observations about a judge's preferences — each can link to a case, a contact, or both, and to a specific date or event.

Where Documents holds files you produce or receive, Notes holds text entered directly into Thistle, often during or right after an event. It captures what would otherwise be lost in email or on loose paper.

A running log

Over a case's life, Notes becomes a searchable record of what happened and why.

Linked to the matter

Reconstruct the story of a case in narrative form, still inside the structured system.

Separated from clients

Internal notes stay with staff, apart from client-facing information.

The story of the case.
